1988 RX-7 Convertible Pioneer Full Logic Cassette Deck

I am trying to find a company who might repair my KP-6111zm Pioneer full logic
cassette deck for my 1988 RX-7 convertible. I contacted Pioneer, United Radio in Syracuse and local repair shops to no avail. Anyone know of a repair shop that will work on vintage Pioneer equipment?

The repair can cost more than the Deck itself.
Personally I would look at just replacing it with a used deck.Try the Sec Gen parts section or put up a Wanting to buy thread in the Classifieds.
Guys are tossing the old stuff and putting in new decks every day.You should be able to get one cheaper than the cost of a repair.

I understand that the repair can be expensive, but I am trying to keep the car all original. Thanks for tip on checking the for sale forums. I will post a listing on there.

I did a quick search for 'vintage car stereo repair' in google and found quite a few places. Unfortunately I don't have any experience with any of them.

Thanks for the response. I've tried several shops. They will repair vintage radios and
one shop does 8 tracks, however, nothing so far for cassette repairs. I'll post the answer should I ever find a shop that will do the repair.
