1987 non turbo starting issues

I have a 1987 rx7 with the 13b non turbo. It turns over fine, but wont fire. Everything seems well as for things needed to start. Getting gas, has spark, compression good. Not a flooding issue, has the cut off switch, and know how to use it. Ran great and strong, until one day when i shut it off it hasn't started sense. Checked all the simple things I can think of, but am at a loss. Would appreciate any ideas I can try to get running again.

Go figure Ian. lol

Is the car you're working on by chance red with gray leather interior?

Well, if it has fuel, spark and compression it will run.

Are you absolutely sure it's not flooding out? One way to prove this is to just push start it with another vehicle. That will start any rotary, no matter how flooded.

Like I said, I'm wondering if it's my old 7. If it is, it's most likely getting low on compression. When I sold it over a year ago it had like 115k miles on it and had like 90 PSI on both rotors. Depending on how much it's been driven and how hard, it could be at the point of a rebuild.
