1985 RX7 widebody/V8/200-700R4/9"
Getting a 85 RX7 to replace my 81 modified that was torn apart while I was at Ft. Lewis, Wa. Has a sbc V8, looking to replace the TH350 w/built 200 or 700 auto, install 9" narrowed Ford or 80's Vette IRS, rollcage and subframe and another IMSA/GTU widebody race kit to include front airdam and whale tail like I had on my 81. Upgrade of strut and side exhaust. There are several sites I've found but all
are blocked here at Bagram, Afghanistan, any input on additional sites (granny's speed shop is one of the blocked sites). My 81 did low 11's in the 1/4 Mi., 0-60 in the high 3 second range and 160+ with a bolt on overdrive on street BF Goodrich 265x50x14 Fr, 305x50x15 Rr and mid 20's hwy/ hi teen's in the city, smooth ride.
Any ideas welcome, been modifying/hotrodding every car I've gotten since the early 80's. Rotary engines are great, but I know V8's so to each their own with no hard feelings.
