An Rx7 will love you if you love it...this will be an awesome car as a first car. Head turner for sure!

Why is it that EVERY video, or thread I see about RX7's is about modding them. Mainly bridgeporting or whatever. Are they bad stock or something?

They're fine stock. The motor has a lot of potential beyond stock, however. Just drive it, care for it, learn as you go. All will fall into place as you go along.
