1983 fusible link th rx7

I need help with the fusible link the one that's next to the battery. I noticed the middle plugs are getting very hot and melted.. help. And how can I upgrade the big 3 for the alternator . I have a 70amp 2nd gen alternator.

well, obviously you're going to want to confirm that you don't have a short somewhere. that said, it's a fairly common upgrade to use the Gen II-style fuses in place of the fusible links. i'll have to search for the recommended ratings though since I can't remember them.
