1980 RX7 SA Radiator Help

Original radiator leaking pretty badly, shop tech telling me I need a replacement. Couple things:

- Will an FB radiator fit in an SA?
- Anyone have any guidance on where to find an SA replacement radiator? Found a few on eBay, they look pretty rough.

Thanks.

An S2, 1981-1983 would fit. Not sure about the oil cooler mounting points though.

You could always ger a Champion aluminum radiator. https://www.championradiators.com/Ma...ator-1979-1982

Most guys do go the aluminum route. It's easier and cheaper but sometime requires a little messaging for a proper fitment. Your original rad can be re-cored but it's prohibitively expensive. Last time I was quoted around $600 and that was a few years ago.

I'm fairly conservative when it comes to originality and still prefer the stock looking radiator. They can be found, but you need to scourer the internet, facebook and the places that specialize in parting out rotary vehicles. Even then, they may not be cheap and you'll need to take it to your local rad shop to have it boiled out and tested, then hope its still serviceable enough to use. This is why most guys end up going the aluminum route.
