SA radiator

How much would be a good price for a stock SA radiator? What about aluminum?

Well, I don't know about a stock SA, but I bought a perfect GSL-SE radiator on ebay for like $10, $30 shipped, and it fits perfectly. It replaced my dented one. I have a 79' SA if that helps.

If you plan on making extra power, then you need to get rid of the extra heat. Plan on upgrading from the stock 2 row to the thicker 3 row radiator; it will still bolt right in place.

Well the only thing right now that I have planned is a full Racing Beat exhaust and maybe a Weber swap.

The stock Sa radiator is more than sufficent for your needs. Finding a "perfect" radiator on ebay or anywhere else for $10.00 is not a deal that happens everyday. He just got lucky.

A good used radiator sells for anywhere from $25.00-? plus shipping. New ones can be had for around $120.00 or so.

If you are replacing your radiator, it would be a good time to check all the hoses and belts, radiator cap and replace the T-stat if it has not been serviced in years.
Put some redline water wetter in with the Coolant/antifreeze also.

And if there was any signs of rust in that old radiator. Flush the system with the t-stat out then replace the t-stat for sure.

I have replaced the T-stat and all three hoses but havent done the belts yet. Also I did not get to get a good look at the old radiator before I took it to the local radiator shop and they told me that it was trash. Also I have ordered a new radiator for $140.00 but its coming from California so it will be about a week before I get it. What is redline water wetter?

Water Wetter is just an additive for your cooling system. Comes in a quart sized bottle and is supposed to help cool the motor.
