13B with RB intake wot problem
Ok so I just got this 84' gslse it has RB intake with Holley 650 double pumper RB full exhaust the internals I'm not for sure what has been done but it has been ported Atkins apex seals matched rotors is what I was told by my friend I got the car from still need to go talk to the guy that built it to get the real story on it. With that said it runs great revs good as long as I don't go WOT if I do it bogs for a second or two then picks up any ideas? Thanks in advance.
Is that from a dead stop or while driving ? does it have mechanical or vacuum secondaries .
Quite often fuel delivery is a problem . Could be a ton of things but you need to start somewhere .
Start by checking the float height . make sure you don't have any vacuum leaks, and let us know .

it is manual secondaries and yes its getting its shot and it does it if i just go from an idle to wot if i run it up to around 3k i can wot it and no problems. i have one thing im going to try since i over looked it while thinking about it untill stareing at it today and the vaccum advance is not hooked up so this is where im starting
That thing will need a good healthy shot of fuel not just a little pissy bubbly squirt
and they need it right when the throttle plates activate not before or after , they should keep squirting fuel until the throttle is pretty much fully open .
Have you checked the floats to make sure the bowls are full when running .The fuel should just kinda jiggle out on the threads .
Did you check to see if the vacuum advance works when vacuum is applied or did you just hook it up ? I not saying they don't help do the job but IMO the old vacuum advance on most vehicles are poor at best
