13b Carburettor?
Recently, I have just purchased a 1980 Series 1 RX7.
It was advertised with a 13b and basically i just bought it for the engine. Anyway, when i went to go pick it up, It was a carby,
Did 13b come out with a Carby, because this was the first i had seen of it.
The body is immaculate, but the interior is shot. The engine runs quite well, but saying that, I don't have much experience with carby's/
Is there any tips about starting it? I don't want to flood it or anything when i'm trying to get it going in the morning,

The engine was a swap into that car as 1st gens never came with a cabureted 13B. The trick is going to be figuring out what 13B it is. It could be an older 4 port 13B, a newer 6 port, a TII block run as NA, or a hybrid combination of two engines. If you post some detailed pictures of the engine from various angles we can problem figure it out.
As for starting, it should start up easily if things are set up properly.

Ok, wow I'll take heaps of photos tomorrow and chuck them up.
When i go to start it, it turns over well and then starts to come to life but then just dies. Not too sure how to explain it, we'll just start with figuring out what engine it has first and then how to get it alive and well. Thanks!
