13b bridgeported life and maintenance

Hello all and sorry if I'm asking something that it was already solved, but i haven't found a clear explanation.
If I take a rx7 fd3s built only for race with a bridgeported 13b with turbo, what maintenance he need in additional to all basing things like changing oil and others? I mean: it needs a change of rotor, apex seals, ... ? I need to open the engine?
I read that after many miles the engine loses compression and in few words die. And then? I need to rebuild it or what?
Thanks for your attention, Stefano.

let's face it.
Engines wear out.Modifying the engine to produce higher than stock power decreases life expectancy of the engine.
If you keep the fluids up..etc..then ya,it should treat you well.
But that doesn't mean the engine will last forever.Eventually the compression will decrease. It's bound to happen.

Apex seal replacement:yes..crack open and rebuild..no 2 ways about that...it is somehow attached to the Wallet..it cracks it open and money falls out..and disappears!
The only good thing about that is that you now have a better engine in your car so you can get to the bank quicker!

So when the engine loses compression, if I replace apex seals I'm ok? Or there are other things to do? Replacing apex seals every time can I take the same engine forever? And before it loses compression I have to open the engine to do some else or not?
