OR 12a to 13b enigne swap more info

So i have been doing my research and this site rocks lol

i found the part i need to buy that will make the 13b mount up into the 12a chassie

now im looking into a oil pan since i know very little about both engines can i use the oil pan from a 12a and put that on the 13b turbo?

i dont think so and i have looked for a oil pan that will fit the motor im getting and yet im still comming back empty handed do i need one off the 13b that they made for the first gen ? dunno pretty simple questions just alot of post out there confuseing me

if anyone has a link to what i need to do that would be sweet and i think when i start this project in jan. 09 im gonna take pictures and video almost all of it and put it up on here for other people to see.

i got a few people helping me that have droped 350 small blocks into little s10 pick ups, hopeing they will be able to help me problem solve as well but they dont know a whole lot about rotary engines if im doing this i want it to be done right

thats why im planning on doing it months before i go threw with it

this is the engine

If you get the 12a front plate then you car put it on the 13b and it will fit directly onto the stock motor mounts. You will need to use the 13b oil pan and you will need a new gasket.

I am doing the same swap on my SA (1980).
