Are you selling this black 94 in VA? I need advice before I make an offer on this car

Hey guys,

The time has finally come for me to seriously start looking into getting a 3rd gen. I have had the rotary bug since my first FC and it has since gotten way out of hand.

A turbo vert. ,2 SCCA hill climb FB's, and a v8 FC later I am ready to make the jump. What should I look for while trying to hunt down a FD? I was thinking about this black on in VA, it appears as though the guy is a real rotary buff to say the least which is a good thing.

What do you guys think?

1994 MAZDA RX-7, twin turbo, touring model, blk w/carmel int, 98,450 mi, newly rebuilt turbo engine, recently rebuilt on July '03, bose stereo system w/ cd player, rear spoiler, sunroof, runs great, must see, auto trans, $11,500 703-xxx-xxxx

Seems like a bit much for an auto... If it's a 94, why does it have a tan interior? Need more pics and a list of mods.

Dude, it's in NoVa, the area code is 703.
BTW, saw you a couple of weeks ago on Jefferson. I was admiring your Z when you waved and then I recognized you.

I think Im going to get this one\/

1994 MAZDA RX-7, twin turbo, automatic, 53,000 miles, garage kept, sunroof, white, spoiler, Viper alarm, new eng 7k, mint cond except crash in passenger side fender, easy fix, clean title, sacrifice $8,700 firm, su@yahoo.com, 305-xxx-xxxx.

Spend the extra 3k on the non-wrecked car with the new motor. You're going to be shelling out that much just to get this one fixed/repainted anyway. If it were as "easy" of a fix as the ad claims, it would have been done prior to selling the car. Check it out carefully!

BTW: I'm in NoVA if you need someone to look at that other car and it's close to 20170. LMK.

automatic transmission takes the excitement out in shifting the gears when you drift.

From what I have seen here over the years. That type of innocent looking damage often has a bent frame underneath the fender/door. Not a good buy if so.

Yeah there is a guy in the area with a red FD that I see fairly frequently but he never waves so I kind of quit acknowledging him - but I caught you out of the corner of my eye. The 7 is looking GOOD!!

I got to get mine out more - I've only driven it 2 or 3 times this year. Hopefully I can make it to a meet on the southside. Seems there is more activity over there.

Dont but the automatic! My bud bought one with the intentions of converting to 5spd.....! year later and still auto. Its always easier said than done!

I think NJ is closer and I can sell you my manual 94 for 9.5K. Needs work, but not like the ones posted above
