would you drive your 7 400 miles?

untuned? well, thats not entirely true, off boost its ok, so it would be fine at cruising speeds. but anywho, i'm having enzo tune my car in NYC, and i'm from buffalo ny.....it comes out to be about a 420 mile drive each way. should i drive it? tow it? tow it one way and drive back? just curious what you guys think or what youve experienced yourselves, what would you do

I drove my '90 TII untuned 800+ miles from Rocky Mount Virginia to Marshfield Massachusetts. I however, did not wish to shell out the $700 to tow it. If you can tow it for not too much money you might as well.

if you have a base map loaded just drive it and baby it. make sure you bring a extra set of plugs b/c youll foul the plugs by the time you get to the tuner, (always a good idea to tune on new plugs)

Damn 420 miles?? Jeez i forgot about new york state lol. Not even long island is that long i dont think.

But if you're easy on the gas, it should be fine. Otherwise i'd tow it there, then drive home. If you have AAA, you're gonna be over limit on free miles. I only get 100 per year.

Up to you. If you have a lead foot, dont do it. Otherwise go for it.

yea, i'm pretty responsible on the gas pedal, i've yet to go into boost since i got the car back on the road, i'm too paranoid to do that with it being untuned.......so thats prolly a good thing lol

she made the drive home from cleveland without any problems, so i think mechanically i'll be ok now that i think about it

on a side note, do any other fd owners who would be in the area perhaps want to meet up or somthing while i'm in town?
