Mazda Drivers Returns To The Mid-Atlantic Area!!!!!
Mazda Drivers will host its next (fall) event at the brand new Shenandoah Circuit at Summit Point Raceway on Labor Day weekend. Registration opened a week ago, and there will only be room for just over 100 students. There were over 150 participants at the last VIR Grand East event.
Many of the past events at Summit Point (on the original 2-mile circuit) would draw many participants from the northeastern states, but I believe that many could not justify the additional four hours of travel time needed to get to the VIR circuit in Danville, Virginia from points like upstate New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, etc.
Mazda Drivers will continue to host a minimum of three events each year, and will surely be at VIR again in both the spring and summer of '06.
