Hey all,

Need some help here. Longtime FD owner. Now I've got a problem with inspections in NJ. My car still passes emmissions...etc. The shop that I went to last year got paranoid and said that b/c my FD is lowered, they can't pass me...something about DMV crack downs and lowering being dangerous (caveat here is that the young fellow actually doing the inspection was about to pass me when the owner of the place came by and said "you know you can't pass that, it's lowered, figure out what you're giong to do" - to which the young guy had to apologize to me and tell me he couldn't do anything for me."

Visually, I'm stock except a Greddy PE and slight lowering of car. I still have stock cat on the car...

Once you open the hood I've got an ASP medium IC and M2 Intake staring out. However, that didn't seem to be the issue....


Point is, can anyone in NJ recommend a place for me to go? I prefer central jersey (Mercer County) but am willing to travel if it's a sure thing.
