I hear everyone else has get togethors there. How about us? ****,plenty of bathrooms, grills.I think it costs like 5 bucks to get in.
How about some feed back.
We need something to do.
The bbq has come and gone,so has Roterfest or should I say costfest, I hope to see you guys come down to Gilligans this Saturday and thats it.
The only get together we have left is Import verses domestics @ Mir in nov

Not that it's a bad idea, my wife's company picnic is held there frequently and it's a cool place to spend an afternoon. I only mention it because of the lack of interest people on this board usually have for spending any money.

You have to reserve a shelter (pavilion) if you want one, otherwise you're stuck out in the sun on your own, unless you're lucky enough to hang out near an un-rented shelter and nobody stops you from using it. Info:

I agree Joey the bitching about anything that cost more that 1.00 is a little retarded. But hell if we rent a picnic place for 350.00 would be cool.Everyone that comes throw in 20 bucks, have everyone bring some type of food or drinks.Brian(Big Pimpn) I will call them tomorro what lets shhot for 4 weeks out maybe first week in October? I also heard if you do not call and reserve anything they will not let you hang out at your cars.
Just let me know! I'm in!

I have a big *** cooler I can bring, and I can usually get it filled with ice without a problem as well. It holds a LOT of beer and soda (although it won't fit in my car...). They have grills at each pavilion, but someone will have to organize who's bringing what and who's cooking what as well. I usually do a fall BBQ at my house with the "Maryland guys" core group, I can plug this deal in that thread. Most of them generally show with more food/beverage in hand than they consume.

Good deal. I'm sure we can schedule it around something like that. Now we just have to figure out who's going to handle the money. My paypal acct is currently in dispute, so I can't collect funds from anyone. But I'd be glad to hand my $20 to whoever wants to be in charge.
Unfortunately, only about 6 people have voiced interest so far.... anyone else? I have a grill on my deck, if it's going to be this size turnout

Well at least you've been to my house so that's one less person that won't need directions here - which is where this shindig will end up if we can't even get 10 people
Ernie - I've got a 36" tv in the garage, if that helps

It won't be if more people start jumping in and offering to help out. But at a minimum of $280 for the pavilion, we're not getting down to the "It's worth it for me to go hang out" value menu. I'd gladly put out $35-40 for it, but on this board I doubt enough other people will. Hell, I don't really think it's confined to this board, most are probably about the same.
Prove me wrong, set it up and ask for money, I really hope we can do this. Then I won't have to clean the mess in my garage to make room for everyone
