Thinking about parting my car...

Thinking about parting my car... I can get more money out of it than if I sold the shell.

Anyone wanna give me any input, or any reason to not do it?

Basically that car ruined my relationships with a bunch of people, and now it's blown anyway, and I don't know if I can really justify investing a few thousand into it to do what I had planned on doing.

Not sure how the car ruined a relationship with other people but if the car did that then they were never true the next time it will be over money a girl or food. As for the car your the only who knows how you really feel about it. You part it out then later might end up missing it & not being able to find another but basicly that is my opinion so you have to go with what you feel

Yeah, I know what you mean Haze. But at this point in my life I really can't afford to keep investing money into it. And it's just become a giant headache for me. So if I'm able to make some of the money back I spent on it... why not?

And it ruined relationships with other people because I had my priorities mixed up, and all I cared about was this ******* car.

And bottom line dude, it's a car. It's JUST a car...

Thanks,
James

Yeah, I was pretty troubled... But I realized that all the **** that's happened to me in the last month is really just a bump in the road we call life. I'm just gonna put the project on hold for a while, but I'm sure I'll still be on the boards.

And you're absolutely right about the car not being at fault for ruining my relationships. I just had my priorities completely mixed up, and the REX took number 1, unfortunately.

And I'm apologizing now, to all of you. But I picked up a Honda. 1989 Accord, coupe, 5 speed, a20a1 motor, 213k on it with the head replaced.

Thanks for all the kind words guys... put a smile on my face.
