Thumbs up Take a run for some fun on the Kent Island Crusie!

Ok kids, Kent Island is a small island on Marylands eastern shore. There is a bunch of dock bars etc, there.

We will meet at the Baysox stadium parking lot between 11:00am-12:00 noon on November the 19th. It's the Saturday before Thanksgiving. At noon the cars that have decided to come will make the crusie to Kent Island which is about a 30min-40 minute drive. We will have to cross the Bay bridge which has a $3 toll.
Once there we can converge on the dock bars. I have one in mind and have some drinks and eats.

Anyone who wants to come along is more than welcome. So feel free to invite your non-rotary buddies.

Who's coming?

I would go, but no RX-7. Could I tag along with you Dave? Pretty please? Or even Brian, Jsplit, Rikki, whoever.

I may try to attend. This isn't going to be a "let's see how many cars we can pass while weaving in and out of traffic" event, is it? There are definitely better places and times to show what your car can do. But a nice cruise and lunch sounds pretty good.

I understand what you're saying. I would just hate to think it was mature adults going for a cruise and get there and find an entry sheet for the next version of the Cannonball Run

LOL, no that would be something to see. It's just a chance to get some cars together for a crusie across the Bay Bridge and hang out and talk cars over a few drinks.
It will be a fun Saturday and I hope that you can make it.

Damn! You get your car back and of course I can't make it to the hang. Oh well, I'm sure there will be others. I'll be on the road with the band until the 21st. Maybe I'll let my wife take it out there...or she can just clean house that day.

You're 2 hrs away! I really want to hit some meet and meet some of the folks, but they always seem to be too far away. Maybe I need to find a Lancaster meet with the Amish Rotary Club

It's only about an hour or so for me to get to Kent Island. From Harve De Grace you could be there in about an hour. I've made that drive more than once. I guess you could try the amish thing though if that better suits you.

Ramy, you going to come out?

I think with the Steve Kan tuning thing that weekend and with you being on tour Brian, It might be better to shoot for the following weekend. I'll get a date off a calander. That way the Deleware folks could come out if they like also.

I'll be down if my FD is healed by then, my cast might be able to come off my hand the day before so that could be double the fun. Otherwise someone ( dave / ryan ) would need to drive me :\

I'm in Havre De Grace once a month and it only takes me 45 min to get there, and I can be at the stadium in 15. With a bit of weekend traffic, add about 15 minutes. Still not too bad if you're considering a cruise from there, really.

Wow, I didn't realize it was that easy. I checked on yahoo maps and it said 1 hr 59 mins. I normally make it a LITTLE quicker, but even with the FD, I tend to drive like an old woman. I'll talk to wifey and maybe meet up that day!

Yeah dude, sorry I can't make it on that day. The Saturday after Thanksgiving would be cool with me, but I'm sure a lot of guys might not be available that weekend. Just part of my life having Weekdays off and working weekends. Of course, I can do Hooters anytime between now and Thursday!!!

I'll check the calander still but i don't see why it would be a problem to just shoot for the following weekend.
