Summit Point Raceway?
OK, the FATT schedule is up!!
http://www.bsr-inc.com/SCHEDREC.HTM
Get signed up fast!! These events are always full.
I'm planning on doing June 8 and Nov 2. Both of these are at the Shenandoah circuit. If someone else is headed to the main circuit I might add that to my schedule too.

thanks for posting that
. I'm curious, why do the smaller course, more challenging? I'll probably stick to the main circuit, my setup on stock wheels might get a bit hairy
.I'm assuming you email them to sign up, or just call with a credit card?
Edit, nm, found it!

.Not sure why your car would be hairy on Shenandoah - you just spend more time cornering. It's not as wide for passing, which you don't spend much time doing anyway.

Hey Dave!
Glad to see you're branching out into road courses. That's what I eventually want to do. Wish I could join you, but my car still isn't back together yet. Maybe later in the summer. Hope to see you at some of the Susquehanna autocrosses.

I plan on going, trying to see how many FD's might be there. I'd love to get pictures of you guys on the track, since i no longer own one myself.

Tomorrow, tomorrow,...Shenandoah.
I hope I have everything ready. 93F should be enough to test my cooling system.

Phew, that's fun.
Unfortunately our 4th session got cut way short due to lightning (risk to the corner workers). Which brings up a point - they don't stop for rain, even heavy downpours. We had a couple small punchy thunderstorms roll through and you (the driver) need to deal with it. Bring your important stuff in one of those big plastic rubbermaid bins so it can stay dry.
I met Rob Robinette, which was a nice surprise, who is now lost in the land of reliability. Both he and his wife drove S2000s.
Tips for anyone who does a FATT, especially at Shenandoah: be aware there are as many lines on this track as there are instructors. Last year I had the same instructor each time. So I learned one line. This year I had 4 instructors, and they had 4 lines. Hammer, Hook, Corkscrew, and Loop Curve I learned at least 3 ways for each. With all the blind apexes and stuff it takes a few laps just to get a feel for how to run each one. I honestly think that hurt me, since last year I was much smoother and faster by the 3rd and 4th session because I wasn't focused on learning the line anymore. So if your first instructor was good, do everything you can to get that same instructor for the other sessions.
My AITs were almost certainly too high. My coolant temps were too high in the 3rd session, (somewhere above 210 and below 250 - damn autometer gauge) and I was running only 8psi (wg solenoid unplugged). I'm really glad I did all the radiator ducting and maintenance I did, or it could have been a lot worse. This definitely has me thinking about putting in a PFC and aftermarket radiator, even though guys like DamonB manage without them.
