Anyone plan on going to the NASA event this weekend?

 

They put me on the waitlist, but I haven't heard back from them, so I guess I'm not going

 

I'll be there on Sunday at the Jefferson Circuit with BMW & Mini of Sterling!!!

 

Bummer. Ya the events fill up really quickly so you have to register a month or two in advance to be sure of a spot

 

With the FD or...? Last I saw you were selling it

I used to work for them, and i'm trying to practice my photography for my event with Ferrari of Washington on the 23rd and 24th.

 

Ah cool, so you're doing some official photography for the event? I didn't know dealerships held events at the track, what are they doing? Lapping day for owners?

 

Yeah, probably one of the best experiences i've ever had. They invite all the owners for a 2 day tracking event. LOTS of cars there, you'll see them all. They had their race cars the last time, and i expect to see them again.

I know quite a few people who work there as well as some owners, so it's really nice when they invite me! Never driven one yet (crosses fingers!) but the ride-alongs are something i won't forget easily.
