* There will be a (8ish AM) SHARP roll out WHENEVER THE REST OF THE CARAVAN ARRIVES, WE ARE OUT... NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
* After that we have a 45 minute drive to the show

 

I'll be coming from up Rt. 80 west. I'll be coming down 280 east to the Parkway

 

I think im making an excutive decision...we arent going to "stop" at brookdale since they didnt last year, but just pass by it...so once you see/hear other guys on the highway, get movin

 

^^ sooo will you be stopping at the Cheesequake Rest stop and then from 7:35am we leave as a group? Or is it like a non stop train?

 

correction: we will be stopping at brookdale, BUT only rolling through forked river, my apologies for the mistake

i know this is a little late but, does anyone going tomorrow have extra NGK BUR9EQ spark plugs to trade for NGK BUR7EQ plugs... the idiot i bought them off of sent me 4 of the same instead of 2 and 2. or if not just has some extra new ones laying around i can buy? (my second gen could use a new set)

 

Great event and Plentiful cars to see. I enjoyed my time. I will post up pics in a few

 

^+1 A few rx7's made it to the show. 3 second gens and a few third gens, including a 3 rotor and LS1 swaps. Sick run on the highway, and I feel very sad for that Supra that did a 360 and crashed on the garden state parkway leaving from Cheesequake to Forked River. I hope the dude is ok. Anyways, great event!

 

Yea i was one car behind him when that happen it was scary when he spun out but he is ok i was talking to him after

How come there is 83 supra made it but only few rx7"s?

 

wow didn't know the accident was that bad. The 7's were scattered all throughout.
There were a lot of Supras. It was impressive they were able to get all of them out to the event.

they get more and more each year, so all the other owners are like oh hey look its basically another giant supra meet lets go cause its rare to catch that many at one meet.

rx7s could be doing that too. it snowball effects if you get enough interest and then year to year bigger and bigger as well.


evos and supras get a huge turnout. next year lets put rx7 in that list

 

make it like a mini deals gap meet. not that ive ever went to that one lol

 

I was hoping there would have been more 7's. It seemed like there were a ton of people saying they'd go but I counted maybe 10 RX7s in total? my FC(tornado silver - across from the supras), 2 others in red. the black and the blue FBs and the ls1, montego blue FD and two others in red.

Maybe some showed up later? I left around 2:30..

 

i was there but w/o my car. that was basically a supra meet ha. the ls1 7 was super nice and sounded nasty as f

so that one was a 3 rotor? i think i know the one you are talking about but wasn't sure since i never saw one in person.

Im glad some of you guys came out to the event and even happier that 2 of you hunted me down at the show and thanked me for the invite

I walked around and saw a variety of FC and FD guys there...and then there was that MINT Gen 1.....that car was banging unfortunately i didnt take any pictures cause i was running around, but i hope those who came did infact have a good time

 

Even though I didn't go up to you and said my thanks personally, partly because you were always mobbed with people around you; thanks for the invite... It was a really nice event.

P.S. Don't forget about us, the rotor heads, for next years Street Wars.

 

Thank you for the kind words sir You still could have come up to me and introduced yourself! I spoke to about 200+ people but each person i had a legit 5 min convo with, then i was swept off elsewhere I always posted this meet here but there was a national 7/8 meet in VA last year on the same date so not many were interested =/

I promise i wont forget about you when i was born my parents had a 87 FC GXL, and i rode in the back of that car untill i was 2ish and then my parents got rid of it so i always kinda have a soft spot for the 7 crowd
