You don't need a wideband, steve is bringing one.

Good to hear you're in for HIN Martin, I'm gonna try to help out with the process putting the cars on and taking them off.

Today’s random tip is that the ground wire that attaches to the fuel pump unit (little black connector on top of the fuel pump carrier) is the sole ground for your dash gauges.

Bet you would have never guessed that one

good tip, but the rest of my guages work. the only one not working is the fuel level guage. ill have to check the floater.

is everyone still in from the original list? .... jio, if you read this, please call me so we can arrange a caravan. Martin, if you want, we can meet up and head down together to a rest stop near Jio and meet with him.

Bad news from me....the GR67 isn't going to be done on time so my car will not be back together to drive. Unless I feel like re-installing the turbo only to uninstall it the next week.

Thanks,
Dan

holy ****!!!!!
i found out the problem with my low fuel pressure, one of the hoses for one of my fuel pumps to the metal lines is cracked. so i replaced both lines with brand new high pressure lines. turned the car on and i couldnt get the pressure below 62psi
i drove the car to work, and when i got there noticed that fuel was coming from under the tranny..... so i tested the pressure, and it only leaked when the fuel pressure is high, so i disconnected the power to 1 pump, and now im steady at 40psi... should i just tune for 1 pump?

god does not want me to have my car tuned

Again something you should discuss with Steve...I'll give him the heads up but if fuel is coming from under the tranny then you may have another leak where the metal lines meet the flexable lines in the enigne bay. You may want to check that, but 62psi is where you'd be if you were boosting around 22psi.

You are going to have to re-set your fuel pressure. When I added my second pump base pressure was around 58 Psi.(up from 43 on 1 pump) Turn the Allen screw on your FPR out counter clock wise until your base pressure comes down. Also like scrub said check you lines coming into the engine bay. The stock hard lines run from right by the diff up to right under the master cylinder. There are rubber hoses connecting the hard lines to your rails. And if you forgot to tighten one clamp on one of the hoses it will leak under higher pressure. I would check those b4 you give up hope

Just wanted to say thanks again to Dan for putting this together and Steve for doing a hell of a job as always. Was great to see everyone there and see EVERYONE lay down some nice #’s. The guys @ carv2 were awesome. Nice and friendly all day, helping in any way then could even letting me borrow tools I didn’t bring, to help get Martns car able to make it on the dyno.
I think my ears are still ringing a little and the race gas has finally released its grip on my brain.

I posted it in the single turbo section but I laid down 465@22psi on a T04S, could have went for more but the turbo had no more efficiency left. I’m super happy with the tune, I mean I smoked a WRX STI like he wasn’t even racing 4 times (then he catches up with me in traffic and is like OMG dude how are you driving that on the road ITS SICK! And a Rustang Vert that didn’t know what he was getting into.

Martin you want the JEG'S Radiused Pump Fittings,
Part # 555-110160
7.99 each Sent you a pu but just incase

I definitely thing the best part of the day was when Steve called me nuts, the funny part is I thought I was being conservative LOL, wait till the next time your back Steve then you’ll be calling me nuts !

Thanks again to all, How’d it go today??

Ohh yea sorry my burnout sucked but I popped a IC hose, didn’t realize until I started to turn out onto Centerville so I (pulled over b4 I got on 141) to fix it then I dumped my tool box all over the street, Nothing like picking up 191 pieces off the ground. LOL

Good thing you didnt loose count. That would just plain suck if you had to dump them back out and start over again...

Nice number Len. I am happy for you!

same here on steve.. dan.. and the folks at carv2..
stretched out my day long enough to be able to see everyone finish their tunes..

steves tuning netted me 295rwhp and 260ft lbs torque @12psi with afrs in the 10.8-11.2 range on pump gas..
pretty stoked considerin im on stock motor with 55k.. stock turbos with ported wastegate.. stock air box with kn and rb inlet.. stock ic..

btw steve.. didnt need to pull out the piping... decided to just force it out on the way home...
