Spare some Advice For a Neighbor?
My 8 has been gone awhile, for engine and body mods, so I'm going thru a little whitdrawl. It's summer, and I don't have a hot car for the hot days.
I saw the following in the paper, on the plus side, it's a convertible, and the negative side, it's an AT......should I buy it anyway? Is it a decent price?
I went to look at it last nite, and took it out twice, top up and top down, seems to run ok. It's in damn good shape, no rust anywhere, just a couple of dinks here and there. which I think ould be normal for a 17 year old car...
1990 Mazda RX7 convertible. Automatic, red, 83K original miles, new top, new tires (very ugly American Racing rims), bra, black leather interior, fully loaded, garage kept.
He'll take $4000 for it.
Opinions? Comments? (Thank you for your time!

personally i think the verts are way overpriced.
plus the AT's in the fc's are shitboxes, they can barely handle the coupe, nevermind the heavier vert.
IMHO id pass on it. but if it drives fine to you and its worth $4k to you, then hey go for it.
kevin.
