small problem... i'll give 100 bux to whoever can come fix it
PFC, non sequential, stock fuel, ported motor, full exhaust, intake and smic soon to come...
my car was running fine sequential last summer befor i took it apart, its just been sitting now for a few months. When i try to start the car it will crank afew times but not fire... 1 or 2 times it has fired but would not hold idle... i went and bought new spark plugs, tried the de-flooding technique, no such luck... searched on the forums and really cant find anything else.
1. vacuum leak ?
2. wastegate routed wrong ?
3. not enough charge in the battery ?
4. some wire not hooked up ?

the turbos wouldnt cause the no start, prob the pfc.
Check your fuel pressure, then check for spark.
err b4 you do that pull the plugs and see if their wet, if they are youve got fuel and most likley it re-flooded.
what town you live in? im going to be out tonight and might be bale to stop by.

im in mount holly, and yea it did the same exact thing b4 the pfc was hooked up so im thinking its not an ecu problem. pulled the lower plugs the one near the fire wall was wet, the other one wasnt really... pulled the fp fuse turned the car over, put new plugs in, no start again.

without seeing the veh it sounds flooded.
I dont know if the pfc has the same cold start setup as the stock ecu. but if you started it and it didnt come out of warmup mode, it can flood itself out just like the 2nd gens. (dosent happen as often) but to properly un flood it takes a bit
1 pull all 4 plugs, pull the fuel pump fuse. hoop up trickle charger/batery tender
crank it and look by where the plugs are, if you see fuel/vapor mist or smell gas it was flooded.
let the plugs sit out over night and dry, crank the car a couple times 15-20 sec intervals, but dont overheat the starter (i like to let it sit over night, crank it 1 or 2 times in the morning then let sit for a bit.
put plugs back in, fuel pump fuse
give it a long crank usally dosent fire till abt 5 sec of cranking
The most important thing is to get all of the rotor faces dry, even while its sitting 2 out of the 3 faces are shielded by the housing and not drying. just a little big of gas will cause it not to start.
you can try the atf trick if you want but i prefer the sit and wait method
