First of all, I would like to say "Thank you" for the concern.
Second of all I would like to apologize for dropping off the face of the earth.

Things have been going horribly bad for me lately. My Father had a stroke, and I had to spend all the money I had saved up to go and see him in Mississippi. This left me completely broke. As some of you might know, I'm off work indefinately due to an injury that I sutained at work. Among other things I have "Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy" of my left arm, and a few other things that should be discovered during exploritory surgery in the near future.

I have been in a great deal of pain, but have not been put on any type of pain management regiment. I have been getting progressively more and more depressed due to this, and the fact that my finances are in shambles. Brandon, you may recall that I left the Drift event due to me being exhausted, that was true, but I was also in excruciating pain.

Almost a week ago, I went and saw a specialist, who performed an EMG nerve study, which means they stick a lot of needles in your nerves, them electrify them.
I discussed with the doctor, my depression due to the pain and anxiety. He prescribed a medication to me that they usually prescribe to people who suffer from seizures, and It seems to be working well.

I didn't want to come here and air my dirty laundry about my personal life, because I'm not looking for sympathy, But now I realize that I have you guys looking out for me, and let me tell you...it hit me hard when I found this thread.

I can't apologize to you guys enough for not taking calls,
or returning them. I was at a point where I didn't want to talk to anyone at all, nor did I want to leave my house, or eat.

Even though I don't know alot of you that have posted here in this thread, I thank you for your concern. It REALLY means alot to me. Brandon, thank you most of all.

Joey

Oh yeah, now that I actually want to go outside, my 7 gave up the ghost yesterday in my driveway. Go figure.
I'm hoping to have my Doctor prescribe it something as well.

Thanks you for the offer bro, but I just couldn't accept money from other people, but the fact that you would offer shows what a cool kind person you are.
I'll get here running again somehow. I'll come across a good deal somewhere. I've always prided myself on being good to other people, now hopefully some of that will come back to me. Once again NeptuneRx, thank you for the offer bro.

he found me a used engine, picked up my car, and installed it for me for $500.

If he can get good deals on motors, please give me his number, and I will call him right away.

I HAVE to get my car running within the next two weeks.

Well, I could just make my way down to you after all.... lol, got garage space now? Cuz i'm thinking i'll just bring it to you and leave it there to work on if need be, since I do have two cars..... my idle's fucked up, horn still doesn't work, and is it normal for the clock display to just shut off while the key is turned to "ON"? I think I might have a short that could be draining the battery....

I'm sure your idiot gauge cluster just needs to be removed and resoldered like mine. All sorts of stuff started working after I did that.
You could certainly bring it down and leave it with me.
You could come down on Fri, and hang out for a while if you wanted. I guess I could throw that offer out to anyone else as well. I would be happy to do the types of things I'm doing for Brandon for other people. For a SMALL fee, since I need a motor badly and have no money to spend on one. I wouldn't normally charge anyone but I need the money.

Thanks guys.

Thank's for the PM FC3SSPITFIRE. I'll try to give thAT guy a call today.
If that doesn't work out, I've gotta put the car up for sale.

88 GXL. Every option that the car came with works. Except fot the Auto adjusting suspension.
The body has 160,xxx miles on it.
It has a few dings, and a little bit of rust under the doors, nothing too bad though. This car lived up to every expectation that I had for an RX-7.
I'm really sad to have to sell it, but I have no other options right now.

I'll try to get some pictures up of it later.
DarkAngelKamui can tell you about it, he rode in it with me at the Richmond drift event.

Well, it's up for sale. I can't wait any longer without a car, and I can't be stuck at home all day with no way to leave.
This sucks pretty badly. I love that car, and it was so much fun to drive, but **** happens I guess. Maybe someone else will be happy with it too.
