RX-7 Tuner Mag

I just got off the phone with Ryan Scott. He is going to continue to publish RX Tuner mag and expects the next issue to be out in 6 weeks or so. I think his magazine is top notch and encourage everyone to subscribe or resubscribe to help keep his work going. I was told in September that the magazine was out of business and was gien a refund for my subscription and the back issues I had ordered. I'm going to resubscribe, as is my son. Let's all support him and Brian Sieber!

+1 for awesome magazine and awesome guy. Ryan personally helped me over the phone get issues that the shipping company messed up on. does he still have back issues available? im glad to hear that hes continuing doing the magazine. maybe now i wont have to only read about LS1 powered RX-7s in magazines. (thanks SCC)

Subscribe? Hes had my money on a 2 year subsription without sending me a mag in almost a year. He should have contacted everyone and offered to give everyone back there money. I got the first year no problem then said hey let me reup for 2 more, then nothing. i know he had issues and stuff privately, but business is business.

I subscribed over a year ago. They took my money and then nuttin'. I called them up and asked what was the problem with my subscription. They said they didn't have me listed as a subscriber. So I faxed them a copy of my CC statement that showed that I was charged $36(or whatever amount) by them. Eight months later, still nuttin'. I'm not going to bother with them anymore.

I cant believe that yuichiror responded in every section with the same thing.
Then again I cant believe you went into each section to promote the magazine that people did not recieve or get refunds for.

Top Notch? You have got to be kidding. The magazine is basically submissions of readers rides and a few fluff articles as filler. In between all the advertisments of coarse. Why would I pay for what I can get here off the forum for free?
I would rather look at the pictures in RX7 magazine than bother with another RxTuner subscription. I did recieve all of my first years subscription. The magazine is stuggling at best.

I had my suscription for 2 years and have gotten 2 magazines. The funny part is that i actually wrote an article in the HOMEGROWN SHOW STOPPER titled "NYC Rotary Meet". I wrote it at the request of Victor Lopez. I got the mag from Victors Lopez, i never received it in the mail .

I just hope they can get it straight, cuz its a nice magazine and its great for us rotary guys to have something for our own, but the MAGAZINE has to be more consistent.

I like the mag, i want to frame the two i have, i would like to have 10 more so then i can re-suscribe.

I would love to contribute more stuff to RXTUNER, but if i send something in and its published 6 months laters its kinda sucks.

But im here if anyone needs me to help!

wow, im sorry guys. i got every issue of my subscription plus 8+ back issues. i wonder why some got it and some didnt. i still enjoy the magazine and you've gotta admit, its better then reading about another WRX, 350Z, or Evo in some other import mag. (Disclosure: I heart Subarus.) it's nothing like the JDM Rx-7 magazines, but it's better then nothing. i hope everything works out for you guys or you get refunded.

I know one of they guys from that mag had heath issues. So I decided to be patient and wait. I got my first year with a couple delays but no problem. If they will continue to print the mag then I will subscribe to it again. i'm patient I can wait.

So, I desided to email them and here is the response.

Unfortunately, RX TUNER is no longer being published, which is why you have never received any future issues. I will request a full refund on your account. Please allow 6 -8 weeks for the check. Thank You

So what ever phdmdrx7 is smokin he needs to share. I bet I will not get a refund!

Amazing. Nobody is ever going to see that money - it's gone. Funny thing is that there were ads for the magazine at the top of this website only a week or two ago.

Sorry to hear about the dude's health problems though.

So then shouldnt they automatically give us a refund not wait for us to ask them to give it back to us. Its not there money unless they deliver the goods. So then we can all expect our refunds?

I was actually pretty happy with some of the articles. The FC Greddy FMIC install article was great, it had some good tips on how to work around some of the common mounting issues.

The Spirit R FD (Donnys car?) was pretty good as well. But I only picked up about 3 different rxtuner mags in total.
