Depends on what you need done? What do you need done?
Also asking this question in the NE RX-7 Forum would be a better bet because us local's can offer more insight.

Bret is honest, and very reasonably priced... and has stayed late or come in on weekends more than once to have something ready for me, and I really appreciate it.

His shop is also connected (physically) to Mitch Piper's, so if something needs fabbing, it's right there.

I'm running a Street Ported 12a that was built by RP Performance.... Runs great, good oil pressure, and good power....

He will rebuild it if you like, but he will tell you you'd be better off with a Malloy reman.

My 7 is at Ray Wilson's new shop in Fredrick now, gettting some last bit of wiring done as well as tuning. He's a straight up guy. I recommend him.

That's changing very soon... Mitch's moving to a larger location in Chantilly...

On that note, anyone you guys recommend for rebuilding and streetporting a 12A?

If you have a stock non ported engine you're honestly better off with a reman from Malloy Mazda in Woodbridge, VA. I just went through the same process a few months ago and honestly the reman was the best choice.

Malloy has 12A remans? I don't even think they still make 'em...? Plus, I NEED a streetport. The FB is SUPER slow. I'm not talking about racing...it has trouble keeping up w/ traffic! 100hp! lol
