I am looking for a roommate starting August 1st of this year to sublet for my roommate who is leaving. The lease is up on October 1st but I will be renewing for another year.

The apartment is in the upstairs apartment of a two family home on a safe and quiet side street in Lyndhurst NJ. It is close to two supermarkets as well as a short walk to shopping on Ridge Rd. You will have access to Rt 3 and 17 directly and it is right in between the GSP and Turnpike so it is great for commuters. The train is within a 5 minute walk and there is bus service as well.

Roomate responsible for ½ Utility Bill and ½ Cable Bill.
No inside smoking or drugs (Landlord is DEA agent).
Does not need to be a neat freak but looking for someone who isnt a slob.

I am 28 and pretty laid back and easy to get along with. I spend a lot of time either working on my car or out so it shouldn’t be cramped at all. Our downstairs neighbors are also 20 somethings and pretty cool.

His MAIN concern. Is there a driveway for a car? Even if he has to pay more, is there a space for a car?

 

The downstair's neighbors have initial rights to the driveway but I am sure that something can be worked out. I have been able to get my 7 in and out of it at the right angle so it is doable with a lowered car but I dont think I would recomend it on a daily basis. The neighborhood is extremely safe as well.
