The first event of the Rolex GT series (www.nyrotary.com) will be on January 26th and will be aired on the Speed Network starting at 2:30PM (http://www.speedtv.com/schedule/inde...am=&usecal=yes , check local listings).

THe roster of rotarys vehicles has increased for this years series and all of the Mazda RX-8 are running 20B's.

I had no idea they were allowed to run 3 rotors!

 

yeah speedsource had 1 car with the 3 rotor last y ear the #70. This year they allowed all of them to use it. Since speedsource built a few of those cars, they are comparable to speedsources RX-8's.

So ant come early on sat so we can watch it. Josi is coming early and so is john iight.

 

We can do this as long as Ant keeps his hands to himself.

They just had a GREAT shot of the #70 car running wot...you could see the exhaust glowing red and a nice little blue hued flame coming out of it!!!!

they sound nice in the pits too...I was wondering how much power they were making untill I saw the "theyre all running 20b".

70 WINS first place, 69 comes in 5th and 30 comes in 10th. 3 Mazda RX-8's in top 10.

Its a great achievement to beat a bone stock GT3 cup car hands down! Reliability in motorsports is the rotary's strenght, not fuel efficiency and emissions! :p
