Thumbs down Rip # 3421

Well after 11 years it was bound to happen. Didn’t figure it the way it went but around 645 pm Feb 19 I spun out, lost control, tagged a pole and this is what remains of my baby. Either way her vital organs will be transplanted into the silver one sitting in my garage or she will be replaced with another. One less out there.

My pride hurts more then my body, I might be a little late for this race season fellas…..

Sorry to hear man. I dont know what id do if that happened to me, let alone another fd going down.

But i hope its repairable.

Could be black ice right?

Thats why i refuse to drive the fd in this weather, i dont care if people call me a sissy.

Better safe than sorry.

That should very well be repairable regaurdless what the adjuster says. They will total a car if it has a flat tire and a broken bumper.

Looks fixable. is the frame bent? looks like you would need some suspension parts

Damn this Sunday was a bad one for all of us. I must admit that compared to yours my electrical fire seems insignificant.
Good luck with it or the silver one!

Jio,
I wish I could, I mean the man hrs I have into her alone are staggering...

Should know if it totaled in a day or so, I’m on the fence if I want her to be or not, I mean the body shop its at is a long time friend of myself and my family, does incredible work (my hood and interior parts were only a small sample of his talent) but I spoke to him today and we both agreed if he wouldn’t take it down the track he would push to get it totaled also.

Cars are never the same after an accident like this… but if it doesn’t at least ill get a fresh new paintjob

Ohh dude am I ever going to get the last box o parts? LOL

Wired thing was after all these years I was just starting to like red, LOL

Sorry to hear bro...
If they do total it, make sure you buy it back from them so you can scrap it and sell all the parts or salvage what you can for you next FD. Hell, Fritz is rich off of doing this stuff! lol.....
Btw...
If they total it, Billy Spence is selling his RED FD (listed in the NE section) with Fikse's and T78 for around $17K.....food for thought.

Hey sorry to hear what happened to your baby. You helped me out some time ago and if there is anything I can do for you, you just let me know I'll even take a week off from work if it is needed.
