that sucks, i was wondering what happened to you. i know you planned to be there. that sucks...

i think it was a pretty good day, minus my car ******* up, and me missing my work assignment. i dont really know whats wrong with the car, but i do know i have to ride the bike tomorrow no matter how cold it is in the morning . hopefully ill have some time to work on it tomorrow? i might throw another carb on there and see what that does. i drove it around tonight and it has NO power. its definately a fuel/ignition problem. i might throw another set of plugs in there as well? who knows.. i need another car, BAD.

All in all that was one of the best autocrosses I've been to, it flowed soooo nice.

Can't you guys just tell me it sucked and I didn't miss anything?
Thanks for the heads up on the registration. Hopefully my car will be fixed in time for next sunday, but if it's not ready by the 5th I'll cry (even more).

Ummm that's Thanksgiving weekend, alot of us either have family coming into town or are leaving town to visit family. So i wouldn't expect a big turnout from people a good distance off.

fo sho!!

well, i got my car in the garage today. i drove it to work and it was hell. it wouldnt idle below 2k. i did a compression test and i got 60psi on all faces of both rotors. not bad, but not great either. my dad is helping me rebuild a carb i had laying around (i know **** about carburators). i started taking mine off and man is that thing a pain in the *** to get off. i wish my car was EFI. im hoping this rebuilt carb will solve my problem. im thinking its definately fuel related.

im really hating my car right about meow...

Anyone have any ideas as to why my first gen revs to 4k when you start it? Throttle cable seems to be fine, choke is fine, any other ideas?

Not much of an FB guy but I know FC do, or are at least supposed to, rev to about 3k on a cold start.

nah it's not cold start, it would only do that if the choke was out anyway.
oh well, we'll figure it out. might go play with it some more today.

Sounds like stating the obvious, but a valid question none the less
