HAHAH hey ya Hanzo this is The Tick on the 8 forums I would love to see some other 7's out there besides mine. Maybe I can find someone with good mechanical knowledge of the 7 to talk to me about the issues I have with mine.

Someone with good knowledge of FD's is hard to come by, they are way more complicated than the FC's ever were and they are also a much rarer car.
I am pretty much in the same boat as you with my FD - I'd love to have some knowledgable able freinds. I have found most of the original owners had enough money to throw more money at them when there were problems.
I am 99% sure I'll be there this Friday with the FC again.

i drove by there this past friday in my FD but it seems i was a little late, there were a few guys in the parking lot but they said people usually start showing up around 7 or 8, ill try to make it out this friday at the right time

You're going t have to wait on Hanzo for an answer to that one, but I haven't seen to many many running around Richmond in general - I think I see FD's more than FB's

 

are people getting together tomorrow, I would like to swing by, especially if there are some second gens there.

I sure do -' 90 base model GXL and also the afore mentioned $1K '93 FD in my signature.
Can't believe I bought that FC for three times as much as the FD or vice versa.

I was there briefly last weekend but had a gathering to meet at and commence some drinking so I didn't stay for long. Good gathering despite the frigid weather. Looks like I won't be able to make it again for 2 weeks so we'll see...

 

Is there any 2nd gens that go out there? im in the process of puttin my FC back together and thought it'd be cool to go to an Rx7 meet

Its running but I wouldn't call it road worthy yet,
I still neeed to change the 3 year old oil, coolant, brakefluid, etc...
I'm shooting for early January to be all done.
I've driven it around the block a couple times.
