R.i.p.
Allow me to crack an egg of knowledge...
All rotaries from 74+ have the same bolt pattern on the bellhousing. All NA RX-7s from 83-92 (including 12A) have the same clutch diameter (225mm). Just make sure to use your 13B flywheel and counterweight so its correctly balanced. The SE trans just has a taller 5th gear than the 12A.

the bellhousing pattern is correct. BUT the GSLSE flywheel is not the same size as the turbo one OR the standard N/A one.
at least you got to see it in one peice.... its sittin at the shop now with a car cover over it
gosh man that sucks really bad, didnt you just get it running and finished after a couple years of having it? i want an fb bad now. my cars probably going to be totalled most likely, so ill have to figure out what im gonna do from there
I've never heard that the SE is a different size, I know the turbo ones are a different, but all of the aftermarket 74-92 NA flywheels should be universal. The counterweights are the only difference. This is according to Mazdatrix.
yea i had the car for for about 4years but its only been running since last june...this being the 3rd motor. 3rd time was a charm but now its in a smashed chassis... waiting to see how it does in the FB
