Question about T2 hoods

I have seen different types of T2 hoods, is the difference between s4 and s5 FCs or is it between usdm and jdm? I know the pic in this link is jdm, but im looking for that style of T2 hood, not the one with the smaller vent. http://www.jdmconnection.ca/images/STOCK5007,2.jpg
anyone know which im looking for?? ~Mike

All vents are the same between series, the only difference you might find is the seal underneath the vent is slightly smaller for the different series intercoolers. Series 4 was slightly smaller then the Series 5, I don't think anyone has reported a performance gain between the two however.

Also, all Series 5 turbo cars had aluminum hoods. I've seen a few owners report having steel series 4 turbo hoods, however they are few and far between.

you used to be able to get aftermarket steel TII hoods, now you can only get steel NA hoods from aftermarket.

Like F1 said there is no difference, other than material, between the series of hoods. There are some aftermarket hoods that offer a 1 piece design with a wider, centered scoop. Maybe that's what you are thinking of?
