That was the fun part about those meets, is that they actually have some fun on the highways.

I remember going to kohls, meet and greet, then we would go to another spot like home depot. During those drives we would play around. Thats what made those meets fun.

Not just sitting in a lot. Im not saying we have to revert to the fast and furious days but come on, we do have to have some fun. All other car "clubs" do it. We are car guys afterall.

lol thats why i mainly go to non rx7 meets, its more exciting IMO.

Got a daily driver. No need to have the RX8 sitting around not being driven and still paying for insurance. I guess I started my collection early .

I think most of us older guys are more worried about getting caught speeding and insurance going up, although we want to street race we are also afraid. Just ask Fiz-e, he just got caught doing 130mph, not even John Paul the III is gonna help him win that case.

I always considered the RX8 to be a daily driver, I know its hard to control the power and torque on a daily basis but some manage to do it and not risk their lives

Who said anything about controlling the RX8 or any car on a daily basis? I have driven the RX8 last winter in light snow with ContiExtremeContact all seasons. It is a capable daily driver even in the elements witht he right equipment, but that doesnt necessarily mean I want to use it as a daily driver. It is MY summer weekend toy.
