PF Changs Meet In Edgewater, NJ Tuesday Nights!!
Yeah man, I'll probably never head out to another one of these "meets". I went to the PF Changs which was crazy to get to BTW, its so out of the way from civilization its crazy, like PF Chang people didnt want it to be found or make money. Then when nobody was there at all I went to Rt 17 and once again it was crickets. So basically I spent ~$30 on gas, $8 on tolls, and mad time all for nothing.

Im not knocking the meets. When i did go regularly a couple of years ago, it was OKKK. I mean it is only 3-4 miles from my house at the time but again, i had to take my loud car out of my poor quiet neighborhood around 9pm, get to the meet spot and sit there and wait while others show around 10pm. Then i say hi and chit chat a bit, then go home. Not to mention i was basically the only FD there despite another FD owner a couple of times. It wasnt worth my time. Not saying they werent cool but for me, i wouldnt do it again, and i didnt.
Also when i went to mitsuwa in edgewater a couple of weeks ago, to get there from my house, its like i was taking my FD off roading. I cant believe after all these years they are still doing construction on the same road. Its narrow, with huge rocks bulging out from the ground. I was so scared i was gonna rip my 99 lip off one of the protruding rocks or sewer plates from the ground.
Never again will i take my FD down there until those roads are 100% complete. Ill go to a meet in my DD though.

I dunno. Its not so bad Gordon. I usually just call up the regulars and see if they are heading out as well. If enough people go out, I'll usually join them and head out around 8:30pm. That PF Changs is like 2 minutes away from me. The other meet is 20mins away. Not to bad at all.
This is why my car is monster truck style (by FD standards I guess). My car is only a little lower than stock height and I aim to keep it that way.

If i was coming from north bergen, then yeah i can prob go down the palisades medical center road and be fine. But my house is closer to the RT495 road so i take that road down to weekhawken, and turn by where the police station is, then the fun begins on river road with its terrible roads lol.

We normally meet up somewhere, go drive to a place to eat, then cruise on home and go our separate ways. Pretty fun and theres actual driving, unlike just sitting in a parking lot lol.
And we get to eat too.

I know I always say the same thing but back in the day Friday night meets here in NY in hunts point where ridiculous, mad cars all night...and the occasional trash talk and drag race there after 
Sorry guys I was away down in NC Outerbanks on vacation all last week so that's why I was MIA. I know it's supposed to rain tomorrow but I am still down to meet up - post up if you're coming.
1QWIK7- You're pretty quick to jump to conclusions. 2RotorsNaDream obviously went to the wrong lot b/c we had one of the best turnouts that week. Like I said before, this is a new meet. Allow me to supply you with the definition: "having just (or relatively recently) come into being or been made or acquired or discovered." Meaning that attendance in the beginning is going to be low. If you want a meet with tons of cars including bs ricers and a lot riddled with cops then go to edgewater. So, you don't like the roads around here, you think it is a waste of your time to attend, you think weekday meets are worthless, so then why are you even wasting your time to post in this thread?

I was in the right lot for sure. I double checked online on my phone and drove through every lot in the place, including the apartment complexes. Nobody was there. Anyways, I'll try to make it out another time and see what happens. I'll post here first if I'm going.

I'll check it out one day, with or without the FD, to check out the vibe.
I was just posting from experience of meets in general. Maybe at the same time gather some interest for a weekend meet too. I thought other people wouldnt mind meeting on a weekend. But if you guys prefer meeting during the week then thats cool.
I think this week I want to try something different. Lets meet at the Houlihan's parking lot which is literally a mile from the original PF Changs location.
For those of you that are not in the "know" , Houlihan's is on the water in Weehawken w/ a sick view of the city

The location is going to get changed I think. The lot is very dark. I may be going to the Edgewater meet tonight if you want to come along. Some NSX people might be there as well.
