Angry oil gauge goin up to 120 red ligh

hey can anyone help me i dont understand the oil gauge goes up to 120 then down to 60 then back up when i acceleate an red light help me out what should i do

Well its supposed to go up as you accelerate. Im fairly sure its supposed to get pretty high as well... over 100 on my car. Dunno if single is higher than twins(assuming your car is twins)

yea its a twin it skips around look like electrical but i wana be safe then sry my car is guna be in a mag in summer i need it wrkin haha

you're fine, probably a bad solder somewhere that would explain the "skipping" and hey, the higher the oil pressure, the better!

clean off the connector, it gets oil and crap on it and can cause it to bounce.

its located on the drivers side of the rear iron, cant miss it

i dont remember mine jumping around when i had the 7.... its only been 4 years since i had my FD but... god i feel old haha.

i know in the porsche though it usually chills around 2 and hits close to 5 under throttle... im sure in the FD it was just a constant though.
