You know I have to....I'm trying to find a spot closer to us and for the City guys to meet up maybe this year or next year. Have the biggest NYRA meet...Hey now you could say you have the whole NY state already bro!!!!Might have to change the name to New York State Rotary Association....I wanna be first to say Congrats..

 

The guy from Benchmark sold that slammin red FD of his, I think. I got to see it up close a few times. He doesn't drive it much tho. Too much money into it. He put atleast 50-60k in audio and interior alone. He was kind of a jerk to me too. But it was still a nice car. See if you can find a gy named steve on lake rd between RT 17 and Turks Greenhouse. He's on the left side in a small brick house and a longish driveway. He's got a pretty silver 85 GSL with a 13b in it. Rocking car and a cool guy to boot.

 

yea the guy from benchmark is kind of a dick but i figured i would at least try. i did see it once when i first moved here right in front of benchmark...sweeeeeeett car really bright red. i think corning is damn close to being a central location for a good meet. i think my idea about watkins glen is a good time for everyone to get together. oh and by the way i found out that open track day costs 20 beans so not all that much for even the penney pinchers...i think we all fit that description with the cars we all drive. also i might have a few non rotary people follow up to the roc for the meet.one is a very impressionable...i.e. we CAN convert him from the nissan 240 he has now and get him in to a propper car...lol iwill find out when the open track day is next year and post it here.

 

Okay to keep you guys update on how many people said that they are coming:

FD's - 5
FC's - 7
FB's - 6
RX-8 - 4

Also there are a couple of people said that they are coming with out thier REX cuz of blown motor, or something wrong...Then there people that love Rotary's and dont have one I also Invited them, Yes they might drive up with a prelude, accord or what ever they have. I warn them about no burn out, revving engine. Just park your car and have a good time..

I wanted to do atleast 1 albany meet this year where us city and upstaters can link up together. But the albany heads that i had as contacts have been awol. So then maybe for next year we can do this mega meet in albany i think its equidistant for all of us =)
