I spoke with Jay about me doing a NYRA chapter in Rochester. I met up with a couple of Rotary heads a few min ago. We came up with the 19 of August as the date. There were 5 RX cars there... One guy said that he knows at least 6 more guys with RX. I know 3 guys with RX, so all together there is 14 RX that are going to meet on this first meet in Rochester.. I know its 5 hours away from NYC, so I know no one is coming up here. Albany guys if you guys wanna join this meet let me know and I'll send out Direction. If any one know people around Buffalo, Rochester, or any area close to Rochester let them know. Thanks for reading this and your support.

I'd like to see an organized list of who will be making this particular event.

 

Bro I used to live in Brooklyn and I still have family there. So when there a NYRA meet, I'll leave out of Rochester on Friday moring with a trailer towing my RX-7 on it. Then on Sunday, I'll leave my mothers house around 6 in the afternoon and tow my rx-7 back to Rochester. There are a few people that are coming to this meet that they never join a fourm.. There Just local people around Rochester that I'll stop them and have them pull over and have a conversation with them... From my Knowledge there are going to be atleast 20 Rotaries that are coming...From my knowledge I say.. People always change there mind at the last minute... As you could see There are three people that live close to Rochester that are on the RX-7 Club Fourm... The one's I have met are older Hispanic guys with first gen and 2nd gen...One of my co-worker has a RX-8 and know this guy with a 3rd gen which i have met. Who he knows 3 more 3rd gen owners...So to give you a list of people i can't because they not on this Fourms.

I changed my mind about the car show in Bridgeport, turns out my FD doesn't qualify for any events because it is newer than 1987

Rochester is a long way away from me. I'll have to think about it, it's well over $200 in gas alone for me. Maybe if someone buys my Greddy I/C... but even then, thats a LOT of money to throw away...

iwas going to contact the guy for benchmark audio and see if he wanted to go. i dont even know if he still has his fd but hey it is worth a try. also i have seen a couple fbs here in corning and a bunch of rx8s but as i understand it alot of rx8 owners are not true believers...not saying all but some...lol
