where are the rx7 meets in New York City? my rx7 is limping right now but i still wan to know where anyone of you meet to bull ****? there is a big auto up in bellmore i will attend if someone else goes

 

Sometimes people go out to Suffolk for the BBQ meets but thats about it.

 

Yeah i always go to NJ..
Me and a couple NY people go over to the tuesday meets.. its like 30mins away (Fun drive)...
And its like 20 mins back. Your more than welcome to roll. (PM me if anything)
Its a mixed crowd 2nd, 3rd Gen rx7's..Rx8's.. and others (S2000's, STI). Its a real cool crowd. every car is welcomed... even Beaters..

It is at the LI Bellmore train station on Friday nights in the summer.

Why don't we get a meet going until we get a meet schedule or something... Is almost summer already and we don't have a schedule... Let's get a date set or something

 

wats up guys this is the owner of Function 7 i will be having another BBq soon . the three that we had already . were good turn outs . all are wellcomed i will post something in about a week

 

i am soon going to do my auto to manual conversion on my FD i was thinking of "weather permitting" have a little BBQ in my back yard with a couple of beers and stakes and a couple of you rotary heads there while we finger f*ck my car. will anyone be interested?

after i do my swap i would like to start going to bellmore Friday nights,i would like to get a weekly thing going on instead of the 2 or 3 month ordeal.

I go to the NJ edgewater meet Thursday around 9pm, about 50~100 cars show up and more when the weather is nice out. Only seen 3 7s there though, more would be cool as the crowd as very diverse.

Long island Best Buy on Thursday nights every week. Usually 75+ cars, not many rotories but lots of everything else. Come represent im usually the only rotory there. Bellmore is usually all domestics

 

What town is the Bestbuy meet?

 

Man theres usually about 200+ cars at Best Buy, unless you're talking about a different one than I'm thinking of. And usually in the summer there are a few rotaries every week. I'm usually there, Roan goes, DJ was there all summer with the LS1 RX7, this kid from Albany was there alot with the red 95 R2 with 18k original miles, etc. I've never seen your car there once though, hopefully next time I go I'll see it and say whats up.

The Best Buy meet that I know of is in Westbury, you take the Meadowbrook Pkwy to Old Country Rd. East and its about half a mile up the road on your right.

 

Yep thats the one it blew up quick within the past year. Ive been there from the begining I live in westbury. I dont usually stay long tho maybe half hour. Ill be there tomorrow night if i get my flat fixed today.

 

OK so I'll stop by there tomorrow. What time do you usually go over there?

i wasnt checking the forum I was busy dynoing my car all day yesterday... But i was there stopped by around 11:15 on my way home from the shop only stayed for about 15 minutes or so we were tired. im sure it was pretty packed around 9 or so I got there late.

 

Me and a few guys saw your car pass by but you mustve been hiding somewhere. We went through all the rows and didn't see you anywhere. Maybe next time though.

u guys should check out home depot in the bronx by gun hill it gets packed in there and sometimes u get civics doing a run in near by, or "loking it up"! sometimes it funny ! i would love to see rx7s out there and show ppl real cars ! friday and saturdays
