NYC Rotary Rocketz CLUB** Want to JOIN?

Hey whats up, Long time no talk to you guys. Sup to everyone TwinTurbo, 2fast27, RX7up, ALNY93, Stop Skater, SSVLopez etc...

I just wanted to run a few things by you guys and see if you guys were interested in starting together a NYC/LI rotary crew. I know there TRI7 and other lil sub crews but with the ROTORFEST event and how everyone got together to roll deep to the event got me thinking that we need a bigger presence in NYC.

I been going thru this in my head and i know its hard due to the fac tthat people have there own things to do (Families , work, etc) but to atleast spread the presence of rotarys in new york mainly. So this is a new thing for me and suggestions will be widely appreciated. I will try my best to see how to do this. But i really want to start a real club were we can get together for car/rotary events and to build a closer community beyond the internet so we can help one another. I spoke to John (Twinturbo ) and hes is down and has agreed to help me out and BKLYN RX7 also. So far we have three people. SO if you are interested feel free to respond to this post . Hit me up on AIM or join the group at Yahoo

http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/...y-Revolutionz/

So talk to you laters

Just to keep everyone updated. Been very busy with school as i come closer to graduation the classes are getting harder and piling up. Im taking four civil engineering classes and Chemistry II, i also work twice a week so im booked. I will be working on trying to figure out the setup for this crew/club so by spring everything will be worked out. I want everyone in the crew/club to participate in one way or another relating to all aspects of it , since certain members may know more about certain things than another member. This way we can create a more diverse and well-rounded crew.

These are some of the questions i have , if anyone has any other concerns please post them.

NYC Rotary Rocket’s Club

 Where to hold meetings?
 What type of events?
 How many members (Member Limit).
 What are the requirements to join?
 Member Contact Info
 Crew Hierarchy?
 Member Logo, T-shirts, symbols

Also the crew name is also up for debate. I want everyone to have a say in what goes on in the crew and i dont want the crew to be too big either since i have me other rx7 people who can give two ***** about rotaries and dont deserve to have rotaries. This isnt for them just for us die hard fans.

????

i didnt get into anything about my sig.

Jason

EDIT: THis has nothing to do with the topic of this post Roan, if you got a prob with my sig IM me dont damage my post. Why do you always have to get sensitive about this stuff as if it were directed towards you. If you feel so strong start a petition or go lend yourself to some Probono group.

I'm definitely down, just as long as we don't drive like we did to Rotorfest. Doing the actual speed limit was torture, especially driving in a sports car.

Hahahaha, yeah...it got a little old...really quick, lol.

I just said that because I'm going to school to be an SAE certified technician, so i've got some tools and **** that could be useful with engine building, and other crap like that. So if you guys need something that might be hard to find, I might have it. But I think it would be cool if we would all start ******* around with our cars and giving each other a hand when we put in all the aftermarket **** we have...

Just an idea.

I'm going to check the weather for the weekend, to see when a good day would be. I hear Saturday it is supposed to rain...but I don't have cable TV in my dorm, and right now I don't feel like looking at the weather. I'll check tonight.

That would be awesome. Also, my brother can help out some of you guys. He is ASE certified, which includes painting and refinishing. Non-structural and structural analysis and damage repair. He knows it all from chop tops, to custom paint.

I think I'm gonna have to cancel the beer-bacue for this weekend...forecast says rain for like a week...

Maybe a few weeks from now...hopefully it won't be TOO cold by the middle/end of October.

And Jason, count me in for whatever you want to do. You've got my AIM screen name.

Take care,
James

Well im glad people are interested in starting a NYC/LI Crew. I got inspired with the Rotorfest Caravan lol, ya know who you are. So please just email me so i can try to put a list together of potential members so that by the summer , with everyones help as wells (future members) we can get a Real Crew rolling for NYC. Im tired of seeing these honda/acrua ni99az rolling thru deep.

I know the rotary community is more diversed so people are doing a number of different things than can restrict them from doing stuff in a crew, but on the weekends we can def find some time to chill and ****.

Like i said suggestions are widely appreciated, so email me at NYCROTARYROCKET@yahoo.com or hit me up on AIM: NycRotaryRocket if ya are interested lol

Jason NYC

P.S I know some of ya might have a problem with this i am actually considering giving a lil entry examm to see if the people are true rotary heads; Dont hate i know we all hate school but this is different this is the school of higher rotary Learning

=)

People in NY (NYC/Westchester anywhere in the sticks/ and Long ISland) please add yourself to the map below. This way we can see where our fellow members rest at, to help build a better rotary community for our STATE.
