Anyone know of a place in Northern Virginia that can do a checkup and see if there's anything wrong for free or fairly low amount? Because it seems like the more I've let normal mechanics work on it the more problem that shows up. Saw rotary revolution around here in chantilly but don't know if they can do a checkup. Thanks.

To answer your question, i doubt a shop will do a free estimate for repairs. Usually, they will charge their standard diagnosis fee, per problem

As long as it not electrical and hes got time for you. Recently it seems like they save the better service the Miata Spec racing crowd. Guess the have deeper pockets. To bad I used to trust these guys.

If you have a 3rd gen go to PFS ask for Ray, or KDR but that's a haul .

Does PFS do FCs, and where are they?

 

To be honest with you, i don't know if they work on FC's...i can't remember if i saw any at the shop when i was up there, i remember a LOT of FD's. There might have been 1 or 2 FC's though.
