Saturday weather is supposed to be good. There is a drivers meet and greet at Tempest tonight in Waldorf. I found out its $20 at the door though for each individual for the actual race though. Kinda pricey..

I have no idea about Dee. I saw Bobby Freeman last weekend and he briefly mentioned something about Dee racing at Budds Creek. I didn't know Ryan went to the MSCW meetings. You sure it was him?

 

Are there two Ryan's in the area that both have RX 8 turbos? It was silver with a whole lot of stickers on the car. I think they said he used to work at PFS, so I assumed it was the same guy. I just said hi, didn't really have a chance to chat with him too much.

 

Only turbo Rx8 Guy I know has a black one and that is Jeff Abrams. That kit is *CLEAN*. I was very impressed.

We could meet up at the WAWA on 301 and Billingsley at 11am if that's convenient enough. Maybe I'll take a quick drive over to Tempest to see what's going on.

 

Brian my DSM buddy Kenny said he saw you at Tempest. I did not make it to that. I had to take my son to Tball and then Leslie and I went to the Gym and called it an early night.
Yea Ryans car is Yellow and he is the only guy named Ryan that ever worked over at Peters. Must be someone from PBG.

 

Yeah I went over there for a little bit. They had a Turbocharged Mustang on the dyno doing some pulls. The best was 1,177 rwhp! I couldn't believe it. I didn't hear what turbo was in there, but the thing shook the whole dyno. There were some other rice cars too, a nice Supra though. Ken was pretty cool, he's got a beast of an Eclipse(or Talon). That thing almost shot flames on the front of my car.
You know what, maybe his name wasn't Ryan??? I don't know, but I'm pretty sure they said his name was Ryan and he worked at PFS. Maybe they were pointing to someone else, I'll try to clarify who's car it was and what his name REALLY is.

 

Yea there is another guy on the rx8club that has a greddy turbo k it also. Must be that guy. Kenny is ok for a young DSM guy.

 

I checked the schedule, maybe we should meet at noon instead? There's just open race sessions at noon, the real brackets don't even start until 1pm. Maybe Dee is racing at noon though so I would wanna catch that. Let me know if you hear when he's running. I'm working tonight late in DC, so I'll check the forum tomorrow morning.

Ari called me this morning and told me he was headed out there to MIR. He recently ran a 9.3x on the stock tranny and was happy about that. I may be headed down there tomorrow in the FD to meet up with jsplit and then pitcrew for Ari. If anyone sees a short dude in a Gotham hat be sure to stop me and say Hi
