Everytime i been there i dont even eat the food. MAYBE i have 1 drink, kill me. Im there for the good people and cars, not the food. How about a meet and if you want food then bring your own. geez, problem solved? Wont be called a bbq/meet just a meet. And im all for that.

 

not only has he been going out of pocket for these meets he has been doing it for about ten bbq that last about an average of 12 hours. Now if you ask me thats a lot of food, drinks, propane, and condiments. and in all honesty chuchs meets all hell of a lot better than any other meet i have been too and i have been too a lot of meets. and he even gives hott cocoa in the winter meets so if there is enough interest im sure he can make it happen but it has to bee clear too all comers even friends of friends to chip in and bring some grub and the meets will keep on coming i can assure you

so what im asking here is to get a list going of people down to go and food that your going to bring.
ex.
1.hector (ocho siete) 16pack hotdogs & buns

talked to him today he still isnt sure even with ppl offering to bring alot.He wants to wait and see how many ppl post on here willing to help out.Right now i see the same ppl posting lol.

 

There are many guys that are willing and able to bring food or chip in, all we really need is a organized list of people and stuff to bring. We also don't want to steer people away because of food, I saw this type of stuff happen back at the NYRA meets and some where offended and never came back.

 

Screw those people. Bringing in food or drinks or whatever isn't a big deal. If people are asked to do that and they don't then they shouldn't come.

 

what ever you guys want to do......let me no when the time comes.....

 

how about no bbq, bring your own snacks and food

Yeah that kind of makes sense. Especially if someone is late/no show, you are out X amount of whatever.

Actually I take back what I said, I think we need a core group of people that will bring stuff and have the rest be free for all.

We should get a caravan going at function 7 and head out to this place and represent rotary on long island let's go big or go home . What do you guys think

 

whats up fellas.. ive been out of the game all year due to some changes.. big changes.. waiting to get some stuff made up.. but im still down for meets or bbqs whatever.. i will bring food like always or money.. we just need to get these meets back..
