New show coming to Speedchannel-and I am helping

New show will be coming soon to speedchannel.Somehow I got involved with it.
Its going to be called quick 8.Fastest but reliable street cars.Brian from Eld performance will be co-hosting it with Nate pritchett. Its still in the works, but at least its something different than watching nascar and reruns of the same shows on the network.
The guy from Pinks is getting some type of deal with the network and he is letting Nate and Brian run with the show.
Here you can listen about the show here.

What do you guys think?

sound good. From what i heard i dont think a rotary would win. Is like bull run. Drag and a cruise ride, they dont say how long is the cruise rideis and then a drag race. So depending how far is the cruise, dont you think the engine would heat up alot. That my thought. I dont drive me 3rd gen alot, and before when i had a 12a anywhere i went it would over heat. I had change water pump, bigger radiator, and still it would heat up if i drove it over 2 hrs.

I have no overheating issues when cruising.maybe you should get a newer rx7.

My 12a that was a long time. I dont drive my 3rd gen that much. The longest was from Brooklyn to Rochester that was a 4 1/2 hrs. but cruising. Doing 65 mph. But if i do let say 80 mph for 4 1/2 hrs would it overheat or internal problem. That what i'm saying. So if you do this show, you might be doing lets say the min 90 mph. But the distance is unknown. Not saying that Rotaries cant hang. But for how long would you go before it start to over heat and have a problem. Whats the max you could do and the distance before it start to mess up. I seen video of RX-7 driving hard. but how long can you drive it hard before you start to mess up the enige. That my point I'm trying to get at. I drive my car hard for a few sec. I never drove it hard for a long period of time. You get my drift.

yeah, seriously... 3000+ that's just ridiculous. couldn't it have been made to read that the car must weight at least what the factory claimed it did at time of production? you'd have to ad weight to an FD but an old muscle car that normally would have weighed 4000lbs can be leightened... how is that keeping anything fair? what about a lotus that normally weighs 2000+lbs? i'm not sure you could even ad 1000lbs to it.

Thank god. Stock FD weight would be fair. I agree with keeping the 2000 - 2500 lb cars out but 3000 is a bit high.

I agree that the weight has to be changed. The only fc that was over 3k stock was the vert. So coupes will probably have to add weight to run? thats crazy. Id love to enter a contest like this. Hopefully itll be around next year when the 13b-RE is up and running.
