New FD owner
I race with the Corvette Owners of Mass (aka COM). The next event is April 8/9.

I also do a few autocrosses a year with either SCCA (www.ner.org), NESCC (www.nescc.org), or CART (www.cartct.com) Autocrosses are great because they're inexpensive ($25-$40) and a fun way to spend a Saturday or a Sunday. You typically don't have to pre-register online so you can go on a whim. You don't get much seat time in comparison to a track day, but you get enough to make it worth while. NER/SCCA and NESCC have events at Fort Devens in Ayer, MA so its only a 40 minute drive for me in the morning of the event.
****** is a restaurant thats not far from my house. Shaun saw my car parked in my driveway before I posted about it.

thanks a lot. ill definatly have to join you this spring for some autocrossing. i do have a boost controller, and my car is a little modded, so i would be in the street mod 2. i am a member of SCCA, and i have some free passes for race events. if i dont race this spring, i definatly want to at least check an event out. id like to look into a track day on lime rock as well. cones are fun, im sure, but a track would be where id like to progress. thanks again, Rick. <hope to see you this sunday>
