RI Need vmount installed... Reccomendations? (ri/ct)

Hello. I purchased the rotary works vmount kit. Some of you may have seem my thread. The kit is a disaster. I'm looking for your recommendation as to where/who I should inquire to have install this kit correctly, and how much I should expect a job like this to cost?

Here's what needs to be done:
New brackets made for radiator, intercooler and oil cooler (ones supplied isn't even close to working)
Radiator nozzle relocated to the crypt side (left lol)
Custom air plumbing (supplied piping isn't going to work)
Bung welded on water pump nozzle for sensor
Support bar welded onto car
Air ducting

I saw synaptic3 website in the tuners list. Most websites posted there are no longer available. I dont know where to start. Any help is appreciated... It would be awesome if I could find a reputable place near home since I have to tow it, but I want it done the right way since this kit is not the right way.

Thanks for all of the advice guys.

Yup, Steve does rebuilds, and he's damn good at it too! I towed my car from MA to Rhode Island just to have him rebuild my engine and a whole bunch of other stuff. Have no doubts when dealing with Steve. Super stand up guy.

i usually do my own tuning on my car and the cars i build. some i send over to dentsport and some i send to enzotuning. depending on what they are looking to do. send me a pm and a list of mods you have and i can see if me, dsg, or enzo would be best to tune your car.

DentSport is a great option and can properly duct it for you.

Off to DesntSport she went today! Thanks guys. No doubt I will be more than pleased with the outcome.

@Smg944, I talked Bill there and he recommended you to build the engine. I'll call you went DentSport is done doing their thing!

No idea. The only visible car out back was a rally scooby that look like it rolled. All the rest were burried in snow.

Will do. I was talking to Bill briefly about tuning. He said possibly Apexi PowerFC3S (yes, I had to add the 3S lol) or a Haltek unit, and that I need to talk more about it with the person there that does the tuning.

One thing that concerns me is, which would be better? PowerFC has ease due to plug n play, but bad due to that it uses the crappy harnesses FC's seem to be notorious for. Or do I go with a unit like Haltek where I would have good and fresh wiring, but I would have to take the time to wire it?

Anyways, I'm not too sure where to go with the engine. I'm not looking for crazy power. I want it to be street driven and somewhat reliable for a rotary. I was thinking of a small (half) bridge port. I understand how a rotary works (street rotary is a great book), but I really need advice from a builder.

if the car worked well with the stock ecu then you can go with a power fc. meaning that the wiring was already ok. the power fc is a little more strict with resistance from the wiring but should still be ok. i love the power fc as it is a very nice unit to use and is good for 650whp. the haltech as you said will just need to be wired up. still is a good unit to tune with.

as for engine if you are not looking for over 500whp or looking to rev the engine past 8k rpms, there is really no need for a bridge or half bridge engine. they need to idle much higher close to 1500rpms and lose some low end. with the turbos that most people put on these cars there is no need of more then a street port. the engine flow is limited to around 8k rpms with a t4 1.00 or smaller turbine housing. either a t6 or a t4 1.15+ is need to get the redline up higher. but that also brings in engine balancing and clearance. which all gets costly.

a nice streetport will idle less then 1k rpms and pull all the way to 8k nicely. as for a turbo i would say to go with a t04s if you have your own manifold and downpipe already or an a-spec 3574 kit. they both will give you full boost below 4k rpms and have the potential for just around 500whp maxed out and 400whp at 15psi.

you also have the option of doing a bnr turbo. i would say stage 3 or 4. depending on what you would like to spend. these 2 turbos wont make quite as much hp as the t04s but will be much cheaper as you wont need a new manifold, downpipe, and wastegate. you would be at around 350whp at 15psi.

then just add the proper fuel to you setup. lots of options out there...

The car barely ran when I got it, and due to a bad alternator, I couldn't even drive it home.

I like the idea of the bnr modified stock turbo. Utilizing stock manifold and location will let me save some money for other mods.
