so I am looking to buy my first FD near Richmond Va. I want to have the car looked at by a specialist or a Mazda dealer if I have to. Does any one have any suggestions as to where to take it. Also, I know I am going to have them check compression and fluids. What are some other items that I should request they look at. Oh yeah the car is basically stock with a high constant idle~1500rpm

 

try the regional forums. There are lots of shops/FD owners in that area.

 

Closest shop that I know of is RP in manassas or rotorsports in kanapolis. Mr rx7 TT is in VA beach area as well. Other than that, I dont know of anyone.

 

take the car to pfs. it's about 3 hours away but it could be well worth it.

 

who is RP in Manassas? Considering how few rotary shops there are in this country, they all share the same damned names.
