Need my rx7 Towed?

Can someone please help me. I ned to get my rx7 towed to my friends shop. He has someone that says they think they can tow it, but I do not want someone that thinks they can tow it. I want someone that has towed cars that are low to the ground. If anyone knows someone that could tow it in the Philadelphia are can you please let me know. I was looking for a towing company that has a faltbed that would actually go to the ground instead of coming down on an angle so i don't have to worry about damaging my car. Please any information will be appreciated. Its been sitting at my house for a month now dead and I want to get it fixed already.

I have used the tow trailers from U haul before. Pulled it with my expedition just fine. If you or someone you knows has a truck, that would probably be the cheapest route. All you need is some two by fours to get the front started up the ramp and then you should be ok.

I have a truck to pull it. I was thinking about uhaul to get one of their towing trailers, but my car is parked in front of my house on a hill and it would be a pain to try and push it up onto their towing trailer. If I could drive it and wanted to transport it somewhere I would definitley rent one of their towing trailers. I'm just afraid to rent one and not be able to get it up on the trailer even though it would only be a little incline to get it up on the trailer, i am already on a hill and that would make it more difficult.

how far away is your friend's shop? I had my T2 towed once on a wrecker for a short distance, he put the hook under the front wheels and only lifted it a couple of inches so the exhaust wouldn't drag.

what you should do is get a couple of long boards to ramp the car onto the tow truck's ramp if you are going to get it on a standard rollback, there are a lot of trucks these days that have airbags to squat the rear of the truck for lowered cars, mine still scraped on one of those without boards.

Is your tow truck a flatbed? How much would it cost you to come to my house to tow it. The tow would be about 25 minutes from my house. If anything send me a pm with a contact number so I can call you and we can talk on the phone to see how much it will cost me. I would rather have someone like yourself that have towed fd's, this way I will feel better knowing that the person that is towing my car has towed rx7's before. If the price is going to be ridiculous for you to come 2 hours out of your way to tow it then I would have to pass, but like I said please send me a pm with a contact number so we can talk.

Thanks,
Eric

Just call AAA! They have insurance so if anything happens the cost's will be covered. Don't rely on someone's "experience" or their "word."

I used to have AAA, but I do not have them anymore, so I can't call them to get it towed. The towing companies carry insurance so if something happens the cost would be covered, so going with AAA or someone else doesn't matter. If you don't rely on someones experience, then what are you supposed to rely on.
