OK.

So my Mazdaspeed front bumper had 2 years worth of hardcore rock chips. So many rock chips there was almost no clear coat. The shine was completely gone on some parts of the bumper. My bumper was also cracked on the bottom right. My eye lids were painted by a different bodyshop. And that shop did a horrible job. Now all my friends here can back me on this info.

Now I brought the car to "EMPIRE COLLISION" in the Bronx. My friend is the owner. All I have to say is; This is the first time I ever left a body shop completely 100% HAPPY. They did the Best work I have ever seen on any car I have ever seen. Paint match is 100%. So here are the pictures.

Bumper is gouged, probably needs to be sanded down and primed etcetcetc. One shop i went to said i need a completely new bumper. Do you think you could find out a rough estimate for a GOOD job?

Rx8 is well put together....an eye candy...not to much not to little....damn a miss,my nordic green rx8...rip...she felt victim to a northeaster!!!

 

to the guy with that s4- I have seen your bumper, its like melted or something, S4 bumpers are so easy to come by it is no way economical to bother with what you got, find a replacement

 

Hey guys sorry it so long for my reply. I have answered a few pm's. Rob XX7 has a point. But I'll pass by the shop and show him the pics and find out.

 

you cant get the full idea of the condition of that bumper on that car, I have never seen a bumper like it, it really looks like something melted it.

Its not paint peeling, the urethane itself is melted

 

Hey Rob XX 7, are you one of the guys that attended the first flushing/meadow park meets? I went to one so i'm guessing you were there hahaha.

I was actually just planning on sanding it down myself and then priming it, but if you think just replacing it would be easier ill probably just go with that.

Where could i pick up an S4 bumper for cheap from? Or even an S5 bumper, they look a lot better IMO.
